Hi, Barton72! Ahhh, that humid Georgia summer heat; I grew up with that through my teens (Marietta/Kennesaw area). Glad you've joined us at BYC - such a wealth of experience shared here by so many great folks! I'm raising my first flock (8 pullets) and have found so much helpful information and all-around fun stuff about chickens (and the interesting variety of people who keep them).

Hello! That’s cool. I’ve got a great friend in Marietta. Know the area well. I’m in Clermont so it’s a bit cooler up here just below the mountains and thank the lord none of that crazy traffic. Might head west someday though! Definitely glad to join. I’ve been lurking and looking at builds on here for a while. Excellent resource!

Welcome. I found this information helpful. At the same time, now I think I have to use both 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch because it says weasels can get through 1/2 inch.
