(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
2020, We first started with ducks 2 and then moved got our first chicken in 2021.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
We now have 3 baby chicks, 10 chickens one rooster, and two ducks.
(3) What breeds do you have?
We have a variety Plymouth rock, jersey giant, the other breeds I got from tractor supply and would have looked them up but haven't memorized them yet.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I love that they are so friendly, loving, will sit with you, love to be pet, and that you have to earn their trust.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I am also looking to start a garden, love photography, and anything to do with being outdoors.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I am a sahm of 5 kids. My husband works for the government. We have a nice little area we live off on a side road and redefined to start our little farm here then will move it to our 5 acre.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made
you finally join our awesome community? A friend of mine to gain more knowledge about chickens.
