Hello!

Welcome to BYC, Stacey. If you keep male ducks, they shouldn't be housed with female chickens. They can severly injure or kill them. (Not intentionally, it's their anatomy that causes the proble. )
Hi! I have heard that this can be a problem, but I also have read that it is usually fine, so long as you monitor for signs of aggression. I thought it was generally fine, especially if they all have lots of space. I'd love to hear more from others about this, if anyone has first-hand experience.

It only takes one incident.

Drakes are extremely hormonally driven. They have penises - roosters do not. Drakes breeding chicken hens can cause them to prolapse or suffer pelvic injuries.
