Hi there, I am the owner of a flock of 11 consisting of a Barnavelda Rooster, 2 Barnavelda hens, (one with a 6 week old chick, the other Broody on 8 eggs) two barred Plymouth Rocks ( One on 6 Vorwerk and 6 lavender araucana eggs), 4 black Australorpes and an old brown sexlink hen. I’ve owned chooks for years and live on a lush farm where the hens happily freerange. I have the chooks for eggs, as pets and also breed young ones. I never eat my chooks.
