I’ve owned chooks for years and live on a lush farm where the hens happily freerange. I have the chooks for eggs, as pets and also breed young ones. I never eat my chooks.

Thankyou! Little chikkie is likely little rooster but is super cute. I suspect the real mum is the red or one of the barred rocks. Barnie the rooster is nearly 5 years old and is splendid on a sunny day when his green purple blue and red irridescence kicks in
