Hello! I'm rather new to all this, I've kept parrots for about 15 years and have begged my dad for chickens for about 5 before digging into research and bringing 10 chicks home, sadly 3 turned out to be roosters and I had to regime them since I live in city limits and they aren't allowed.
My current bird count:
2 fantail pigeons (both male)
1 Macedonian turbit (male)
6 tangerine ringneck doves (unknown)
2 cockatiels (assumed male as that's what I was told)
1 budgie (male)
7 Rhode Island hen's
2 button quails (male & female pair)
I'm trying to save up to get a car and shortly after that I want to get a nice big property to expand and have a nice little homestead to live off the land and share my bounty with friends and family. I like to read, listen to music, play video games and tending to my bug farms, mealworms I've kept for several years, just started up a super worm farm and I'm hoping to expand to other bugs as well. I help my dad tending to the gardens he grows, I don't have a super green thumb like him lol. And my favorite hobby of all time is just watching my birds be birds!
