I had posted unusual symptoms thread about my chicken. She was pooping green diarrhea initially, only took 4 steps and was lethargic with one eye partially closed and low energy not eating or drinking.
Now symptoms changed. Starting day 3-4 she was pecking, jumping and trying to nibble without me force feeding her and giving her electrolytes. She had yellow and green poop with some solid mass to it and was less tired and even fighting me to get out the cage and peck around the blueberries. Day 5 almost day 6 she all of a sudden started walking like a stagger style and with a tilted head. She is doing better if she eats and drinks. Day 6 I could really see white diarrhea instead of the clear to white part mixed into with the green. She will also lose her balance and try to compensate. She kind of acts like a fly is flying around her head sometimes. The eye that was closed now is completely open with a swollen bottom eyelid. I almost think this off balance walking is lack of proper nutrition and hydration. It is extremely hot in South Louisiana and the chickens are shaded and heat reduction measures taken.
The rest of my flock is separate and seem fine except I noticed they have some white in their poop and I thought that was normal, but was told it to be cocci. Any suggestions? I feel like I have an emergency here.
