Hello!

Hi Cassi! I hope everyone in your flock is doing well and the integration goes smoothly! It's nice you are getting the best help and knowledge you can for them here! BYC is the best resource and community for poultry keepers, so it's perfect you found us!

Thanks for joining and welcome to BackYard Chickens!

Hiya, Cassi, and welcome to BYC! :frow

We're integrating often here and the recommendations above are great info.

The two most important things once you blend them is:

1: multiple feeders and waterers, as the little ones might get shunned away from one and can run to the other ones.

2: clutter, or places for them to duck behind if being pursued (wood boxes on their sides, pallets leaning against the wall/fence, overturned chairs, etc.)

If it's still not working and one or more adults are being especially mean or brutal to them, remove that adult for a week or two. The little ones will have grown a bit more by the time you put the bully back. If I ever have trouble, it's never a rooster and always a hen.

Hello! Welcome to BYC! As other members have mentioned the see no touch method is the way to go! Works great! As always Debbie292d hit the nail on the head with multiple feeders and waterers and clutter for hiding places! I did a see no touch integration a little over a month ago and they got along great almost from the time I let them out! Very little drama! It was awesome! 😊 Good luck with your integration! 😊
