Hello!

This is a great place to learn about all things related to poultry, Tony. Congrats on joining!

Wyandottes are lovely birds, both in appearance and temperament. I had a Blue-Laced Red and currently have a Colombian and a Sliver-Laced.

Although most of my birds (chickens, ducks and geese) live outdoors, I have one house chicken, a hen named Dottie.

Some people believe that chickens are only happy when they are with their own kind. But Dottie has a "flock" that includes me, my dogs and until his recent passing, my cat. I know Richard can have a great life with you as his flock, indoors where he safe from outside diseases and predation.

Welcome to BYC; hope you enjoy being part of this community!

The UK group is handy for information on medication and legislation. Please tell us a little more about your house rooster. You might like to read some of @Shadrach's pages another UK based roosterist. I hope you enjoy your time here.
