Hi everyone!
I am sort of new to chickens. This is my fourth year raising and keeping a backyard flock. Right now we have 11 hens and 5 chicks. My hens consist of 7 Wyandottes, 2 Ameracauna, 1 Barred Rock, 1Speckled Sussex. Chicks are Bantam Easter eggs to be raised for my daughters 4h project. I love being out wth my hens listening to them chatter. I am really in love with my Wyandottes right now. My daughter is active in 4h and this will be her third year to show poultry. We still have plenty to learn on that. I decided to join because there is offten such good care advice for sick or injured birds.
