Hello!

Hi all! I did not expect this many people to stop by on an intro post, but I'll see about answering any breed questions and post some pictures of the girls tomorrow.
Amberlinks are pretty standard looking in the hens, white birds with yellow feets. The roosters are a whole different story, the rooster we ended up with in the Tractor Supply flock (They said sexed but we got a boy) is named Chadington and he's an absolute darling. He's also white but with tan and cream colored highlights.
The rustic rocks best I can tell are a hybrid breed from the plymouth rock chickens. They have a bit more black and sometimes the black has a green shine to it. They are also absolute darlings, one we've named Barbra likes to escape the yard and follow me around while I sort out eggs and other tasks.
All our Tractor supply bird were raised from chicks and are sweet as can be. Every time we open the door for them it's a wave of birds and happy poultry noises.
The Breese are very unique? They're apparently a dual purpose breed but that's only by American standard, in Europe they're considered meat birds. I don't feel like I don't feel like I can speak on their temperament since they were sent to us by a factory farm (Very long story) and it's clear just by how they act that at least the roost, Gaston, has been kicked before. They're very skittish, don't like kitchen scraps much and have only started to be excited when we approach because that means yard time and they love yard time. Breese birds are solid snow white but have blue feet and very red faces.
I'll share photos tomorrow but for now, have a goodnight guys :)
I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures. I'm glad the bresse will have a better life with you.

Did my best to get good photos of the flocks. Chadington decided to be a model but Gaston was not as interested in a modeling career. Everyone's a little grubby from it being the mud season.
