Hi everyone!
I'm new! I've already posted in the chick care section but I just spotted this and thought I'd better say hello
My name's Georgina, or George for short. I'm from the Isle of Wight, UK. I'm quite new to chickens, I bought a pair of d'anvers back in the summer and I got two silver sebright chicks on saturday as no one wanted to sell me a single hen to make a trio for my d'anvers. Fingers crossed the sebrights will turn out to be female! Knowing my luck they'll both be bad tempered cockerals! Lol!!
I also keep 6 rabbits - Thistle, a continental giant, and Jess, Daphne, Pharrell, Marge and Barley who are all crossbreeds. Plus about 60 odd avairy birds including kakarikis, budgies, chinese painted quail, californian quail, canaries, zebra finches, bengalese finches, hecks finches, red eared waxbills, diamond doves, mexican house finches, magpie mannikins and a pekin robin. Not to mention my flock of twelve fancy pigeons. Two of which I handreared so they are like non-screechy parrots!
