I'm Cathy, in Maine. We're a pretty busy family, hubby is over the road and I'm at home, holding the fort down. We have 4 daughters (13, 12, 7 and 5) who keep us busy and on our toes. We have 8 hens, 1 crazy rooster, 2 turkeys and 4 ducks, along with 2 dogs, and a cat. Last year we raised a couple pigs, but learned it's a bit too much for a little piece of land. We're looking forward to spring since we incubate eggs for a few off-grid homesteads. The girls loves having all the babies around and love the process of incubating and hatching. We garden, my 2 older girls play soccer, my 7 yr old is a Lego fanatic and my little one loves playing guitar and singing. We have a of of fun around here, never a dull moment!

Hi! Thanks for the warm welcome!! We have barred rocks, white rocks, buff orpingtons, a leghorn, and a mixed one from last years chicks.
