Hi, I am Jenn, and I am from Missouri. Our municipality does not allow chickens, but my father-in-law has had them for many, many years. We hatch the chicks at our house for him.

(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? This is the 4th time that I have hatched chickens

Hi three_j and welcome to BYC. I have been thinking about getting a couple silkies. Mostly because I have heard they are such sweeties and very good broodies and I want chicks so bad LOL. I doubt if my RIR's will ever go broody. I am in Missouri also....check out the Missouri thread, you might find some close fellow BYCer's!
