I'm new here. Living in MN- getting ready for a cold winter
I have 3 hens and am in love with them
they are about 1 1/2 yr old now, but I've only had them 5 months. One girl is just growing feathers back after molting so she hasn't given an egg for a couple months now. Another hasn't laid for a couple weeks, I think she's a little fat... the third is laying maybe 4 or 5 a week.
Not sure what kind they are, a mix I think, the chubby one is the biggest and lightest color, I'm thinking Buff O. The one just finishing the molt is darkest with the least amount of comb, the third is in between the colors of the other two and has grey legs, the other two have white/pinkish? legs.
