Hi there, I just wanted to introduce myself - I am new chicken addict and having great fun with them
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I had chickens when I was a child but I haven't had any since. I have wanted them for ages and I have recently purchased a new property with a hen house in a fenced off orchard/chicken paradise. The first thing I did was start looking for the right chooks!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
6 - I have four 19 week old pullets and I have two others having a holiday in my orchard for a few months.
(3) What breeds do you have?
I have two Black Orpingtons and two Black and Gold Lace Wyandotte. I would really like a blue orpington and a barnevelder to add to the family too.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I have two children at school, work full time and am studying part time toward my masters degree. I love sewing, cooking and design.
