Middle bird in this photo has a chance. Other three are NOT what I am looking for in a bird (color/pattern). Early freezer camp winners.

Three chicks hatched so far, pips on at least four more. (of 11, 12th is a turkey egg - not due for another week). Pics soon, they are warming under the heat plate.

A sixth is still drying out/puffing up in the incubator, at least one more is pipped (but little progress in the last 12 hours). Haven't looked at the eggs in back yet.

Two more hatched. Moving them to the brooder box soon.

Total of 7 hatched so far, of the 4 remaining, 2 have pipped.

Is it a problem hatching a single turkey poult? Will it hang out with the chickens? Or do you have to integrate it into your turkey flock?

Not a problem, I have separate facilities, and as long as I wait till everyone is about the same size, I can integrate together.

Its been a really rough week, no I'm not talking about it; yes, I'm going to try not to be on line until I'm more fit for human society.
