Hello...BYC's. My brother & I got 9 chickens the middle of April. We have 7 reds and 2 leghorns. We got our first egg Aug. 1. Now we're getting 3-4 a day so far. I have a rental house on 3 acres in Independence, MO. My brother lives in it. We share chores and are having so much fun (we're in our 60's so it doesn't take much for us to have fun. ) I'm married for 48 years, have two daughters, 7 grand kids, and two great grand kids. Can't wait to surf and learn more about chickens. Linda P.S. I'm also a quilter.
