I am new to raising chickens. I am having a blast. Got 2 Buff Orpingtons, 2 Barred Rocks, 2 RIR's and a Splash Orpington cockerel.Girls range from 10-13 weeks and cockerel is 17 weeks and just started his crowing. Raised the girls from chicks and got my boy a week and half ago. All are very docile and have just started letting them out of the pen for a few hours in evening. Can't wait to start getting eggs.
