I have recently purchased my first home in Jupiter Farms, Florida. It is a small rural community surrounded by the busy city of West Palm Beach. My family and I decided to start and raise some chickens primarily for eggs. We now have 5 hens (red sex linked), only one has started to lay eggs, and 1 rooster. We also had to buy 2 more cute babies, I don't know what they are. I'm not sure of the sex yet. We also have 2 goats, 4 dogs, 1 cat, 1 turtle, and 2 kids. I have been on this website almost daily and thought it was time to join. My chicken raising love has just started but it keep growing daily.
