I have been reading a thread about breeding Blue Splash Marans Hens to Cuckoo Roosters. I have a lonely Blue Splash Marans girl and the opportunity to get either a Black Marans Rooster or a Cuckoo. My daughter went with the Cuckoo. This site is wonderful!
