I need to learn a lot about chickens. My ag teacher said in the next few weeks that we will have an opportunity to win some breed of egg laying chickens( cannot remember breed name sorry

) I am thinking about getting a chicken tractor 8foot wide 16 long is this a good idea please give me some information on what I need to do food etc and how to clip the wings so I do not have to worry about flying away

There are always pros and cons to every decision. Cutting the wings will curb their flight until they grow out again, it also makes them more vulnerable to predator attacks.
