Hi from Interior Alaska!
My sister showed me this site a while back. It took some time but, I finally registered!

This is my first year raising chickens. I have 3 Buff Orphingtons. 5 Jersey Giants, 2 Rhode Island Reds, 2 Sussexes, 12 Americaunas and 3 Bantams. The bantams were too cute to pass up.

Right now the first set are in my garage. And the new babies (11 Americaunas and 3 bantams) are inside. Our weather has been really weird and just the other day we got over 6 inches of snow. But, hopefully I can get them outside soon.......

It has been pretty crazy this year. Supposedly we are finally going to hit the upper 40's to low 50's later this week.....I'll believe it when I see it. Because they said that a couple of weeks ago, and we dipped back to the negatives..

Hello from Oregon & welcome to BYC.
I know the weather is crazy all over. It was absolutely beautiful here all weekend - love the pre summer weather.
I'm sure we will be drowning in rain again soon though.
