• Hi - we have 20 some hens and 2 roosters in our barn. With a pen that is outdoors
• We raise meat birds every year (2nd year) and show the hens at fair!
• Our "prize" hen is almost 8 years old I think (the avatar).
• We occasionally get chicks in the mail to refresh our layers.
• We sell farm fresh eggs in town.
• And for the first time this year we are hatching our own eggs!! Although I may have baked the first six....no worries we have 10 more!!
