Hello!

Hi, I just joined this great forum and decided that I should introduce myself. I live in Central Utah with my wife and 2 year old daughter. As of today, I do not have any chickens, but that will soon change. I have wanted to keep chickens for both eggs and meat for a long time but we have not lived in a location that worked, however, next month we will have plenty of space.

I have a good foundation in livestock. Although, I have never owned any myself, I worked as an Animal Control Officer for several years where I received specialized training in livestock health and care as part of cruelty investigation training. However, I am glad to be part of this community forum because I still have a lot I can learn about the day to day of caring for chickens.
