Hi, just wanted to introduce myself. I live in southeastern Ohio on 5 acres with my hubby, 8 yr old son, many hunting dogs (beagle, basset, and redbone), a cat, 2 goats, a sheep, 12 delaware, 11 black astrolorp, 4 buff orpington, 3 barred rock, and 2 ameraucana. Our family and freinds jokingly call us a funny farm. We love our chicks and plan on getting more. Working on getting pic loaded to my computer to post. My son is probably in all of them We tease him about being the 'chicken whisperer'! He has some of them trained to sit when he goes to them so he can pick them up!

Welcome, I am kind of new here too, and I love it! So much fun and lots of info to go around. You sound like you have a nice well rounded "funny farm" though, pics would be great! How in the world does your son get the chickens to sit? Enjoy the group!
