Hello Im new to owning chickens i have re homes two ex battery hens they have one is find but im abit worried about the second one

She seems very depressed, she always seems to be sleeping.

she has been pecked quite badly and she just seems to have given up the will to live.

try some treats, like meal worms or mine like bread and watermelons, maybe with some TLC and food you can perk her up.

Thankyou for your help but she died last night I will have to try and get another chicken next week so the one I am left with isn't alone
