Hi

I'm new to chickens....

I found you via a google search on how to build a coop. What a great site, so much information I can see it will take me ages to read and that I've the place to help me go in the right direction.

I live in rural south west France with my 11 year old son, a dog, 2 kittens and 2 guinea pigs. I'm no longer in the employed world as retired early following a bit of a do with cancer. Nothing like that to focus the mind and life priorities!

So now pretty broke but very happy and trying to get in to self sustaining..

First priority hen house and feeding/watering then what type of chucks and how old to buy them...

I look forward to learning.

Lynnette
