Hi I'm Nate...This site has helped a TON getting the flock started. Right now we have seven what I am hoping are hens. Two Buff Orps Buffy and Sunny which I know are hens two barred rock hens Java and Hazel .. a Brahma, Snowflake which please please be a hen and my EE's Scooter and Lila which are the most rooster looking.. They are all very friendly and will kind of herd to wherever there is a human in the run. The EE's again my rooster suspects are very nice and will make baby chick noises when you pick them up.. We call it "purring"... Well it's great to be here, this site is a wonderful tool.. I will post some pictures of the "girls" when I get home I'll get some face shots.. Maybe someone can shed some light on yet another EE sexing mystery.

Hello and Welcome To BYC! You might like to post pictures in the What Breed/Gender forum for help with figuring out what you have and how old are they etc. https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/15/what-breed-or-gender-is-this from the patchy red feathers coming in, it does look like your two EEs are potential cockerels.

I agree on the roosters, they have thick legs. Easter eggers don't usually have much of a comb so you look for other factors too.
