Hello, I stumbled upon your site while I was researching exactly what breed I was going to get after I restart my current flock. I'm currently torn between Barred Hollands or Blue Laced Red Wyandottes. The Roo I have currently is the later (Splash) and I absolutely love his temperament but I find myself distressed over the critical condition of the Barred Hollands. I think I will do more research as best I can, as well as lurking over some of the threads I find here until a make my commitment, lol. Thanks for having me.

Thanks, I was thinking about getting them both, just have to hope the roosters get along. I have the backyard all fenced in it's roughly 100' by 100' so I believe they could stay away from each other with their hens.
