Hello everyone.
Whenever I googled questions about chickens, I've always been led here. So I thought, what the heck, I'll make an account. So I did! I'm Rebecca by the way, also know by Zaelis'Xae to those online.
I'm an animal lover, and have been all my life. I've had a variety of pets over the years, from field caught garter snakes for a few weeks, to Rabbits and Robins and rats. My current pets are a small bunch, but I love them, and hopefully will be able to for years to come. First, we have my lovely ball python, Zahira. She's been in the family for 3 years.
That's a rather old photo, she's grown since, but it'll do. (She's currently around 4 and a half feet.)
Now, my babies that will likely be of more keen interest. My handsome Belgian bearded d'anver, Fawkes.
Next up, Mouse, who I've been told is a bantam Cochin.
And lastly, Robin. If at all possible, I need help figuring out her breed.
They all get along fine, and are rather cute to watch. Fawkes keeps a good eye on his chicks when they free range with him in our yard.
I'm also an artist and spend a lot of my free time making artwork. I plan to some day have a career involving art production.
