Thanks for the welcome everyone! I've managed to buy some eggs which the breeder said should be arriving today.

The incubator is on and set up properly (or at least I hope so). I tested how well the eggs fit into the automatic turner using my hens' eggs but found that it takes only 6 of them comfortably instead of 12 as advertised, so will most likely have to use it in manual mode. Good thing that I haven't got anything planned in the next few weeks which will take me out of the house for long!
