[M series]

Have decided to join after lurking for years!
I have 4 chooks- Lydia, Lucinda and the M series (Molly and Melissa - but identical)
Have just read article on BYC about chooks and composting and am going to try.
My girls are free range , but are destroying the garden, so will be confined again to their own section - hopefully the compost will keep them busy!

Hello & welcome!!

Yeah - the girls can be terrors for certain. I put up chicken wire around my raised beds to keep them out and when the bed is done, I let them in to help with the weeding etc They love to help me digging over the dirt - it's hard to turn the spade with a chicken perched on it!

So, enjoy the site, join up with your 'locals' if you can. Questions are always welcome & you're certain to get at least 2 opinions/suggestions on stuff that works/doesn't work. Enjoy your ladies they are so much fun!
