Thank you all so much! Great tips and advice. :) we are going back for a few new chicks on Saturday and I'll fill you in on what we decide! I think Cochin makes the list (if available) for sure.

I'm all ears if anyone else has advice. :D

Astrolaurp - Petunia
Gold Star - Rosie
Rhode Island Red - Tulip
Buff Orpington- Sunflower
Cochin - Lavender
Barred Rock - Iris

Love the names, sounds like you have a lovely flower garden! That should be a nice colorful flock which should lay quite a few eggs for you!
