[/IMG]I'm new to the chicken world and BYC. I'm raising 2 sets of babies for the first time. French Black Copper Marans for my parents. And Silver Laced Wyandottes for my own first time flock.
I'm very excited for this adventure with my new feathered friends.

Glad you could join the flock! What an adorable chick you have there :love I too love raising chicks it's so much fun and they are just super cute when they first hatch. So glad you could join BYC! That's an adorable chick. You've picked out two very nice breeds that both have reputations for good temperaments and egg production. My Wyandottes are my favorite breed of chicken. I just love their temperaments, beautiful plumage, hardiness, and egg production! I've never raised Marans, but know that they lay lovely chocolate colored eggs.
