I've been on here for a few days now, and still haven't done my introduction, so here it goes!

Hi, I recently started my second flock after the sudden loss of my first two girls last summer, and I am soooo excited to see where these chicks take me! I have 5 Easter Eggers, a Barred Rock, and a Black Australorp. Can I just say that they are only 2 weeks old, and have already brought quite the adventure into my life. Right now, I am in the process of building a new coop, hoping that it's completed before the chicks destroy their brooder. I'm open to any suggestions as to how to raise a flock, so I hope I can get some comments with tips and things that you have already discovered that will help me raise my chicks right?

Sorry to hear of your previous losses.

But congrats on the new flock. Those are some great breeds you've picked out. I have an Easter Egger too. And I LOVE Barred Rocks and Black Aussies. They are so sweet and curious. I also love the chick in your avatar. So cute.
