Hello out there from wvdebbie . I'm from st.Albans,wv and I have 18 beautiful girls.And I'm happy to have friends to talk chicken with.My girls surprise me all the time .I love the way that they Chang or add coloring all the time.it is so easy to communicate with my girls.Do you all think that is just to funny ?

Most of my girls are laying. I have big beautiful blue eggs , light and bark brown eggs and one is laying what looks to be a light yellow. I have a color egg basket!! Can't wait till the rest start laying.

Can u tell me if hens know when an egg is fertile or do they sit on all eggs ? I'm lost on this

Chickens can't tell if an egg is fertile or not but, some will happily try to hatch rocks or golf balls. They do seem to know when an egg is defective and will often push it out of the nest.
