Hey I'm new to this group. Just started raising some chickens early spring and have become slightly obsessed. Hatched out my very own chickies last week. Such an awesome experience. I've found a lot of information here on the boards so decided I should join!

. Just started and already having a successful hatch. Are you a nurse? If so no wonder you are doing well.

I am a nurse. But I think luck is what helped me with my hatch! Lol. I hatched out 18 chicks from 36. I have some Leghorns that I ordered from a hatchery and then I also have some white silkies. I just hatched some polish chicks as well as some barnyard mix that I'm not sure of the breeds. My kids love the chickens. We are having a lot of fun with them!
