Just a quick hello ![Smile :) :)](/styles/byc-smilies/smile.png)
I just joined the forums after a co-worker told me about this site, which is awesome! Lots of good tips for the chicken enthusiast!!
I'll have to cruise through the site and see what I can find, lots of great links!
My wife and I bought a small hobby farm in northern wisconsin about a year and a half ago. We've got just under a dozen chickens so far (buff orpington, helmet guinea & naked necks). We'll have broilers within the month.
Everything is going well so far! The wife & I are veterinarians by trade, and had to treat a guinea that kept getting egg bound for a few weeks. But not everything ends well
But all-in-all for a newbie chicken owner, it's all going well ![Smile :) :)](/styles/byc-smilies/smile.png)
Great site, glad its here!
