My chick has been trying to hatch for 3 hours now. I can here it peeping but it has not coe out yet. Is it ok? What should i do? the egg is cracked soe but not alot.

It can take up to 24 hours to hatch once they start pipping. They will start to unzip their egg and then it should be close. Give it time, it's exhausting work

Thank you so much So hard sitting here watching i just can't wate for them to hatch. I can now see my barred rock ckick he looks out at me.

so far 3 of 5 are cracked. the barred rock is doing best.

Soooo exciting! I can't wait to hatch my own eggs... got our first layers @ 4 weeks old, 3 years ago. 27 day old chicks are being shipped to us in May... I can't wait! Congrats on the new babies!

Thanks i'm so happy stayed up all night with the little babies!!!!!!!! It is now one berred rock, one white leghorn, two RRs and and EE. Now im wating on the quail.
