helmit pigeons

At a swap meet a year ago, my daughter saved a pair from being fox food. I've had pigeons before but none like these. It took them about 2 months to come out of the chicken house. After coming out, they now follow you around. I go about 300 yds from house, they will fly to find me and then land and see what I'm doing. If I'm sitting on porch, they fly and peck around ground near me.

OK, question is, has anyone else had this experience with this breed?

I used to have some.
Mine were a jaunty pigeon with a peppy, active personality.
They seemed to call out" I enjoy life and have a right to. I am intelligent, healthy, poised, and I appeal to people".
