I'm thinking they are in the most capable of hands and can't wait to go back for a visit to see them and all the other critters they are taking care of...the ones they intend to release when healed and the ones that will not ever heal enough to release so stay there for a forever home. There's a funny little black bird that hangs around outside and visits everyone that when they come. She rescued it but he hangs around even after being set free...he's funny.

It's a really neat place to tour and very educational for my young ones....such diversity of animals to learn about and then to donate to at the end of visit....pelicans, swans, otter, eagles, hawks, turkey vultures, owls of all kinds, falcons, possum, foxes---even a white arctic fox--obviously some had it captured and it got loose since we are in IL.--she's a good surrogate mom to other baby foxes they rescue--a litter of 7 last time we were there that were headed to be someones coat of all things, coyote, rabbits, squirrel, a pushy goat....and many others.... Really neat place and awesome volunteers of all ages.
