I have NO experience with broken bones in people or animals, but when your finger turned green what did you have to do? Can you do the same for the chick's leg?

i would wrap it, but it is her hock, and i am not sure how to go about it

Maybe it's just really bruised, I suppose keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't get worse. You seem to be doing a really good job!

Thanks, i felt her again and i cannot feel or see any broken bones, she is getting more lively and is eating and drinking.

i hope so! she kinda made the long stretch last night. usually the first night will decide its fate, so hopefully she will heal and make it!

i already have posted pics, no puncture wounds, the wire was on its flat side. it looks like is may be the skin.

UPDATE: Both chicks are all better!!!! NO limping and perfect healing!!!
