Hey All,
I just found one of my 3 month old chicks stuck behind a wall in my coop. I thought she was dead, but she's actually still alive. I removed part of the wall and got her out. She made some noise when I was pulling her out, but is not quiet and limp. She opened her yes for a moment when I tried to give her water but has gone back to being limp. Her eyes are closed but responsive if I touch them. Her beak is held closed by her muscles, but I can open it and give her water. She doesn't drink or eat though. The water or food just falls out of her mouth and her head goes limp again. I'm not sure what I should o. Her legs have turned completely white, instead of the yellow color they had before.
Does anyone have any suggestions or advice on what I can do for her? I put her out in the sun for the moment because she had been stuck in the shade in the coop for so long. How long? I don't know.
