I try to help my local feed store. When the get a sick baby chick they call me and I bring it home and try to nurse it back to health.
About 1 hour ago I got the call. Sick 3 to 4 day old Americana (easter-egger) pullet.
I brought her home, see that her rear was stuffed with poo, cleaned it off with warm paper towel. Tried to get her to drink a little warm sugar water in an eye dropper, but it was a challenge. She probably only took a couple drops. Her eyes aren't open and she just lays with her wings part way out.
I don't know what to do and I don't want her to die. She's in my brooder with the heat lamp. She's secluded in her own little box away from my 3 personal chicks. She has bedding and food and some water in a peanut-butter lid.......... but she doesn't move or anything. I can see her breathing but that's about it.
On the drive home she chirped a lot, but once home she has only chirped a few times.
HELP........... What do I do????
