Hi - I hatched 14 of 21 eggs last wed and thurs. Lost another 2 weak chicks while hatching. I have one of the 14 who seems to be slightly spraddle legged- I think thats the term. All were on paper towels the 1st three days and then moved to pelleted pine on feed stores recommendation. Everybody looks great except for little wheaten ameruacana. He was one of last to hatch, but seemed ok. In hindsight he walked funny even in incubator. He can stand but splayed. He eats and drinks. I seperated him in a wire hamster cage in same brooder as others and tied yarn around his legs. He seems to tolerate it. Does he have hope as a pet? This is my first hatch and I want to do whats right by him. Would love advice or prognosis from experianced chicken raiser.
