Going to the agway soon any ideas what I should get, not sure how knowledgable the staff will be...

Ok still need some help here, got vet rx and a bottle of sulmet, so far I've given a drop of vet rx on the beak and a few in the water per instructions, she has drank and eaten some since that. Any advice or things to watch for would really help! Thanks!!

You've made a good start. Good luck!

It seems that the people with loads of experience and expertise have very little time to respond to posts at the moment - we have been much more fortunate in the past. The mucus suggests one of the respiratory ailments, of which there are quite a few. There is a list here: http://www.amerpoultryassn.com/respiratory_disease.htm

Sorry
I cannot offer more help.

Sounds respiratory if she will drink begin with sulmet or agrimycin (oxytetracycline) if she will not drink you need an injectable antibiotic also consider vitamins and electrolyte it can be given in the water with the antibiotic... We have used PCN as an injectible with good results respiratory illness are killers very fast... If she is drinking and not really lethargic stick with what you are doing also I would be giving the max antibiotic dose the lable reccommends and do it for the full time most are 10 days...

Thanks folks, she seems to doing a bit better, hard to tell as all of them sleeping now. Might wake them up in a bit to check on the other two (I have three currently living in a rabbit cage) I was gonna I was going to introduce them to the rest of the flock this week but I guess now I hafta wait...how long?
