This is Lucy ( or more likely Lou, LOL) this chick came from hatchery eggs. She has been handled since tiny and still is not very friendly to us or her chickens friends. I am really thinking cockerel, which means we need to rehome, but my kiddos don't trust mu chicken expertise ( or lack of, LOL) My little one asked me to please post pictures for you experts to see if there is much chance of it being a pullet. Thank you in advance for any help! Picture below shows typical stance when out in the yard.

This one shows wattlesm earlobes and side of comb.

Pea comb, three rows and a little redder than this picture shows. It is not that big but definitely red.

This one really shows the lack of tail feathers.

Here is the best top shot I could get.

Is the comb as pink as it looks? Brahmas are another breed that sometimes get the wrong gender diagnosis! At this age and if that comb is as pink as I think , than it's probably a cockerel and also because I believe it has 3 rows on its pea comb!
