The continuing story...
My fabulous husband is putting an addition on to the coop (with my help - I nail and play general go-fer and hold up the other end of whatever material needs an extra hand for him) this weekend so that we can put the 3 chicks in their own area and get them out of the dog crate. We have the floor, open walls and the roof on it so far. The new area has turkey wire separating it from the old coop area . Sunday the siding goes on along with another door and I hope I can paint the floor. The nesting boxes and windows will have to wait a few weeks. I have been taking pictures and will post them in a few days.
I am thinking it is going to take a loooong time for the Guineas to get used to the chickens......
