Help!!! A coyote attacked my chickens!!!

If it’s not deep, she should be fine if you keep the wound clean. Does she eat and drink ok?

She hasn’t had anything to eat or drink yet. I’ve got her in a dog kennel inside right now with food and water in a bowl. She’s pooped, but hasn’t moved from her spot. I’m not sure if she can walk but she also won’t sit.

I scooted her over to her food and she started eating.

Keep an eye on her. My injured chickens will eat scrambled eggs from my hand, even my rooster who is scared of me!

That’s good!!! You could put some electrolytes in her water and try to get her to drink.

Except for the rooster, they’ve improved.

Unfortunately our rooster’s limp is way worse. He can hardly walk and definitely won’t put any weight on the foot. Could it be broken? Or is it just a bad sprain?

If it’s broken, he won’t survive. If it’s sprained then keep him in your sight Andy in an inclosed space where he can’t go anywhere. Make sure to wrap it.
